Tareq is a London-based Greek Jordanian recording artist and one half of the dj/producer duo Boys' Shorts. Started as the frontman of the nu electro band TechSoir. He released his solo debut album "Cocoon" (2010) incl. the singles "Cold", "Feel Me" and "Mosquito".
Tareq's second album "Fish" (2013) embodied a different approach to pop music and included collabs with a few Greek Indie Pop artists like Natassa Bofiliou, Ilia Darlin, Marietta Fafouti, Marina Satti and Rsn. Continuing his artistic evolution, Tareq released the EP "Indigo - EP" (2017), produced by the French artist Lacquer. It was described as a funky feast of intelligent Electro-Pop.
Following the singles "You and Me" and "One", Tareq more mature than ever, wrote and produced "Prints", a mid-tempo electronica love serenade under the dystopian circumstances (2020). Tareq has also remixed artists such as Fischerspooner, Erasure, Casey Spooner, Gala, Mighty Mouse, Marsheaux, Bright Light Bright Light, and more.
